What about e-commerce you ask, you would have to go as far back as 1997 when Digital Imagination was asked by Cardservice International^® to assist in the development and testing of their API (Application Programming Interface) protocols between the payment gateway and our first e-commerce shopping cart system. These APIs went on to become the standard protocols for all shopping carts using the Cardservice International^® online payment system.
